The study aimed to explore the importance of e-learning in acquiring scientific research skills from the perspective of undergraduate and postgraduate students in the State of Kuwait. The researchers employed the descriptive survey method and developed a questionnaire to measure the extent to which undergraduate and postgraduate students possess scientific research skills in light of several variables. The study sample consisted of 315 undergraduate students from the Department of Educational Technology at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, and 280 postgraduate students from Kuwait University. The results revealed the importance of e-learning in acquiring scientific research skills among students. The level of possession of scientific research skills among both undergraduate and postgraduate students was found to be moderate, despite a clear weakness in such skills among undergraduate students, with an overall mean score of 3.13. The findings also indicated statistically significant differences (α = 0.05) attributed to gender, in favor of female students, and statistically significant differences (α = 0.05) attributed to academic level, in favor of postgraduate students.
