This study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of websites sailing, in improving students’ skills about learning, in the College of Basic Education ,from the perspective of the students, in the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training in the State of Kuwait. The researchers used the descriptive survey method, where they prepared a questionnaire to measure possession degree of basic learning skills among students of Faculty of Education. The study sample consisted of (139) male and (244) female students in the College of Basic Education.
The researchers took the appropriate statistical treatments to handle the study data. Results showed
the effectiveness of websites sailing in improving learning skills among the students of Faculty of Basic Education, student skills in test management ranked first, and data processing skill came in last place, and the average of overall score (3.11), and the results showed a statistically significant differences (a = 0.05) due to sex impact in all fields and in the total score, and differences came in favor of females, and the presence of statistically significant differences (a = 0.05) due to school year impact, speed-reading skills, student skill in test management, and in the total score, the differences came in favor of second and third year, while differences didn’t appear in the rest of
fields, and the results showed a statistically significant differences (a = 0.05) due to achievement impact in all fields and in total score, and between high achievement on one hand and all of medium and low on the other hand, the differences came in favor of high achievement in the recalling and between high and low achievement, and the differences were in favor of high achievement, information processing skills, speed-reading skill and the total score.
